temple for the queer body
A queer temple that centres the body beyond binaries, celebrates all queer intersections, and holds space for the erotic pulse of curiosity
Portland - September 6th 12pm- 10pm
for all the babes living beyond heteronormativity
Everything I create is something that I wish was created for me. As someone that has been to many straight temples (bc it is so rare to find a queer temple) and knows even in the most conscious of spaces - when things are not made for the queer body - it is just a bit off. For the past few years I have focused on creating sapphic places of worship - however right here, right now gender is irrelevant. There will be no language around masculine and feminine or genital specific exercises. This space is for you to come just as you are and melt into the sweet devotional energy of what it feels like when the core of your existence is celebrated.
what is temple?
there are so many ways to describe temple, so let me start by saying what this is not. It’s not a worskhop - although we will be doing connection, communication and consent practices so that you can truly feel a deep level of embodied safety and agency before entering a space of erotic exploration. It’s not a sex party - although this is absolutely a space that celebrates authentic, consenting and curious sharing of eros. It’s also not a fast food hook up space - this temple is first and foremost for you to come home to your pleasure, your body and feel the sweet truth of your queerness in a safe loving environment and then from the overflow of that self filling up entering into (if it feels true for you) a space of shared devotion. For me temple means devotion - a co creation to awaken the deepest layers of the collective queer heart and to melt in the safety that is available when entering a space that is completely dedicated to the queer lived experience.
why this, why now?
well firstly just because. because we matter, because we deserve spaces like this AND annndd with the current political climate amplifying this untruth of queer irreverence there has never been a more important time to give reprieve to the parts of ourselves that feel violated, unsafe and in a state of survival. When we come back to our bodies and the power of our pleasure —
we remember that joy is resistance, softness is strength, and queerness is holy.
We create new worlds when we gather like this.
Worlds where we don’t just survive… we melt, we play, we worship, we thrive

AKA WHAT EVEN HAPPENS AT A QUEER TEMPLE
AFTERNOON
Arriving at 12pm for a 1230pm start
This queer devotional day begins with everything your body craves to open, soften, and thrive. Together with Keely, I’ll be guiding you through tender connection rituals and juicy somatic practices that awaken your inner yes, support you in feeling your boundaries, and honour the full, glorious spectrum of what’s alive in you.
We’ll create a shared field of trust, a space where your nervous system can exhale, your heart can gently open, and your pleasure has full permission to be. We all know what it feels like to live in a society that tries to dim your light - that deems the queer lived experience as less than and how that can have how bodies feeling as though they are in constant state of survival. It is our greatest hope that this part of the day feels like a big exhale.
think breathwork, eye gazing, self pleasure, wheel of consent and practices specifically designed for you to open up into the deepest level of safety and queer joy. Both solo and partnered exercises will be explored here.
eating AND AUTHENTIC CONNECTING
A break to eat, process the morning and continue connecting
EVENING
playtime
There are tickets available for those who wish to attend just the first part of the day, the slow, delicious opening where we drop into our bodies, build trust, and awaken the queer heart.
If that feels like plenty for you, we honour that deeply. Come, receive, soften, and soak it all in.
However, if you’re planning to join us for the temple night, this first part is non-negotiable.
It’s not just a warm-up, it’s the foundation. It’s how we co-create the juiciest, safest, most heart-led space possible. Without it, the temple wouldn’t hold the same depth of presence, consent, and care.
we open up the evening to queer deliciousness, think cuddles, being witnessed, choosing what your own queer adventure, making out with hotties and filling your queer heart up.
closing & aftercare
There will be plenty of space for aftercare before we have group shares and a little ritual to close the space.

My name is Keely C. Helmick and I am the owner of Connective Therapy Collective in Portland, Oregon. I use they/them pronouns and I am a White, able-bodied, queer, gender fluid, non-binary femme.
These identities inform the passion and experience I bring to my professional practice as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and certified sex therapist. In my work I focus on supporting individuals or relationships/family structures processing topics of gender, sexuality, non-monogamy, and polyamory. People want to talk about sex and either don’t have the language to have the discussion, or are hindered by misinformation, trauma, embarrassment or lack of self-awareness and understanding. My practice lens is intersectional, anti-oppression and de-colonization oriented. I have been working with folks for over 12-years to address a myriad of personal, sexual concerns in a sex-positive, non-judgmental way. I specialize in work with the LGBTQIA2S+, gender diverse people, as well as the kinky community. My goal is to create a space where individuals, groups, and communities can learn and grow, overcome systemic barriers to accurate sexual health information, trauma healing, and shame-free pleasure-based support

Hi, I’m Jordana Ezra, a certified somatic sexologist passionate about helping queer babes feel deeply connected to their bodies and queerness. I know what it’s like to carry shame around your pussy, your desires, and your right to take up space as a queer person. For years, I struggled to feel “enough,” faking confidence while feeling so disconnected inside. That’s why I’ve devoted my life to creating safe, celebratory spaces where you can unravel that shame, reconnect with your body, and discover the pleasure and freedom you’ve always deserved. Through trauma-informed somatic practices, tantra, and years of working with queer-bodied humans, I help you build trust with your body, embrace your desires, and live unapologetically in your pleasure. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about learning to listen to your body, honour your boundaries, and say a full-bodied yes to your queerness and pussy. You’re worthy of a life where you feel confident, turned on, and fully in love with who you are. And I’m here to walk that journey with you
